4 Bible Verses You Should Check Out

The Holy Bible. Just those 3 words can bring up so much controversy. Some people believe every word the book says, while others believe its a bunch of bs. No matter how you see the Bible, you have to admit that some passages bring up some great quotes.

In this post, I will show you such passages that will work towards your life no matter what you believe in.

Just know that my meaning and your meaning may be two different things. I feel most of these verses are good for when I am having low times, self-harming. You can tell me in the comments what they mean to you

*In order from what comes first in the book*

Psalms 5:2

Here we are asking someone to pay attention when we are in need

O LORD, hear me as I pray;
pay attention to my groaning.
2Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God,
for I pray to no one but you.

Psalms 13:2

This one has a deeper meaning to me then what you may have. I see it from a self-harm view. The enemy he speaks of is my inner thoughts.
'I will sleep in death' Will my demons inside kill me? But I will trust in you to help me

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me

Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall

But I will trust in your unfailing love

Psalm 22:1

Here we are asking why has no one helped. Stay awake at night crying, calling out to no answer

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me, from the words of my groaning?
2O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer,
and by night, but I find no rest.

Psalm 55

Here is another I find with self-harm. My thoughts trouble me and I want to run away. Wishing I could but knowing I can't
Listen to my prayer, O God,
do not ignore my plea;
2hear me and answer me.
My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
3because of what my enemy is saying,
because of the threats of the wicked;
for they bring down suffering on me
and assail me in their anger.
4My heart is in anguish within me;
the terrors of death have fallen on me.
5Fear and trembling have beset me;
horror has overwhelmed me.
6I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
7I would flee far away
and stay in the desert;c
8I would hurry to my place of shelter,
far from the tempest and storm
